The Cathy Shipley Best and Brightest Internship Program
Created to meet the needs of working adults, The Cathy Shipley Best and Brightest Internship Program offers participating graduate students opportunities to work in a small and/or rural jurisdiction as a paid administrative intern.
Interns receive a salary and benefits package of up to $37,500 annually for their work in a local government.
Get to know all the aspects of local government and boost your CV during your work week while you earn your graduate degree and master critical theory on the weekends.
Worry about your classes, not your bills.
A cooperative endeavor of the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, local jurisdictions, and the University of Colorado Denver Center for New Directions, the Cathy Shipley Best and Brightest Internship Program offers adventure, local politics, and lots of hands on experience in the day-to-day aspects of leading in local communities.
